I was going for a sort of "bleak industrial" look, but with addition of searing heat. Makes for a lovely desktop wallpaper.

Makes for a lovely desktop wallpaper indeed, except you made it 1024x768, motherfucker. But anyway, this is definitely your best wallpaper, so congratulations. As for the noise, I think it works well with the photography in the background, but not so much with the drawing style. Still, I don't have a problem with it. OMGIT'SaFAVE!

Yes, I do have a version without the noise. Didn't seem to have quite as much impact however...I'll upload it now.
